MOAACC supports Florida Institute of Technology's Army ROTC, the only college program in Brevard County and are honored to present the MOAA Medal of Merit at their annual awards ceremony. MOAACC also presents the 2LT Bars to the graduating cadets at the FIT commissioning ceremony.

MOAACC supports all 14 of the JROTC programs as well as two Sea Cadet, one Sea Scout and two Civil Air Patrol units in Brevard County. The JROTC Color Guards present the Colors at our monthly luncheons on a rotation basis.  All 20 of these units provide Color Guards at our monthly luncheons on a rotational basis. MOAACC representatives attend the JROTC award ceremonies and present the MOAA Medal of Merit to deserving cadets that have demonstrated a high potential for military leadership. MOAACC representatives also attend the award ceremonies for the Sea Cadet, Sea Scout and Civil Air Patrol units and present a MOAACC Challenge Coin to the Cadet selected for demonstrated high potential for military leadership. The April MOAACC Luncheon is reserved to honor the MOAA Medal winners and top performing Cadets from the Sea Cadet, Sea Scout and Civil Air Patrol units.  They receive a MOAA certificate of Military Merit from the Cape Canaveral Chapter. Their instructors, parents and guests are also invited.  Parents and guests attend at their own expense.  The MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation provides annual financial assistance to all of the units as well as in response to special requests when needed and approved by the MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation Board.

The May MOAACC Luncheon is reserved to honor students that have received an appointment to a military academy or ROTC scholarship.  Bottom line: MOAACC is extremely proud and honored to be involved in this worthy endeavor..
