3 - 2 - 1 BLASTOFF with us!
(3 - 2 - 1 is our area code)

The MOAACC organization has been very active in Brevard County since 1958. It is a service/social group of Military Officers, including retired, former and active duty from all seven uniformed services, as well as spouses and surviving spouses. It is dedicated to supporting the goals of MOAA and the community while promoting membership camaraderie with social activities, work in one of our many worthy causes and participation in many of the separate clubs associated with MOAACC.

The principle purposes of MOAACC are:

    1. To promote the aims, objectives and national legislative programs of MOAA.
    2. To promote state legislative programs beneficial to uniformed service retirees and active duty personnel.
    3. To provide useful services for and protect the interests of members, their dependents and survivors.
    4. To facilitate camaraderie among members.
    5. To assist qualified young people who display an interest in, and an aptitude for uniformed service.
    6. To provide support for philanthropic (Good Deeds Fund! Scholarships!)purposes as approved by the board of directors.

2011 FLORIDA COUNCIL OF CHAPTERS CONVENTION AT SEA!

It will be the honor of MOAACC to sponsor the Florida Council of Chapters Convention beginning May 8, 2011. This convention will be a round trip, seven-day cruise of the Eastern Caribbean from Port Canaveral. We are looking forward to seeing as many members as possible from our own chapter and from all over the state of Florida. It is a chance to participate in a Council Convention and also have a fine vacation. There will be more information about the schedule including speakers and special events in The Intercom as we get closer to the convention. For more information on reservations for the cruise click on Convention Cruise 2011 .

We're active and want you to join! (go to membership page)
Remember we welcome former officers and active officers as well as retired officers. We opened up membership to spouses in November 2009 as auxiliary members along with spouses of deceased officers who have always been qualified as part of the organization. We are all members of the same organization. There is no separate auxiliary.
Just click on your service symbol below.

We serve all seven uniformed services!

A MUST READ!!!

An important addition to this web site is the Personal Affairs section. It is a compilation of material to assist members and survivors with legal documents and entitlements by working with the Patrick AFB Retiree Activities Office and the Military Retiree Assistance Program (MRSAP). This is the work of the late Rod Swank and is a must read. Click on PERSONAL AFFAIRS to obtain this valuable information. The Personal Affairs Handbook has been updated and is now in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF)

The Personal Affairs committee is looking for some new volunteers. No training required because it will be supplied. This is a very rewarding endeavor. Click here to review the Personal Affairs Handbook.
